Both protocols are exactly the same with the exception of the amount of weight you’re trying to lose.

The average weight loss on the 23 Day protocol is 17-24 pounds and 27-35 pounds on the 40 Day protocol.If you need to lose more weight after your 23 or 40 day protocol, you will need to take a 6 week break before starting another cycle.
